Here we have a 2003 Jerry Jones Bass VI in stunning Aqua Blue finish. For those who don’t know, Bass VIs are normally tuned one octave below standard guitar tuning. In a full band setting, a Bass VI can hold down the bottom end with ease. But in addition, you can also tune a Bass VI as a Baritone which is typically a fourth or fifth below standard guitar. With Baritone tuning you gain a world of chordal and lead guitar options which you’ve heard a thousand times on records from the Beach Boys to Cream to Dwight Yoakam and everything in between. The Jerry Jones Bass VI is a truly wonderful instrument, and this one is in very good to excellent condition with just normal playwear and a few dings here and there.

Original Nickel Kluson tuners. Tusq nut with a width of 1 11/16 inches. Maple neck with a 30 inch scale length and a depth of .8125 inches at the first fret and .875 inches at the twelfth fret. Rosewood fingerboard with a radius of approximately 14 inches and 24 jumbo frets in good condition. Original Jerry Jones Lipstick pickups that sound awesome whether you’re playing the guitar as a Bass or as a Baritone. Nickel-plated bridge with a compensated Rosewood saddle. Original clear pickguard. Rare and cool Aqua Blue finish. Comes with a non-original hardshell case in Excellent Condition.
