K.Yairi" continues to support the world of Japanese folk guitars, and as a top brand, continues to be handmade by a small group of elite craftsmen in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, even now and in the past.
The craftsmanship of K.Yairi guitars is widely supported by the world's top players, and the models exported under the name "ALVAREZ YAIRI" have been used by Paul McCartney.

The model introduced here is "BM-90C" by Mr. Michimae, a craftsman of the Custom Shop.
Before joining Yairi, Mr. Michimae had a unique career as a "traveler." After joining Yairi, his guitars are designed and sounded as if he is on a journey, following his sensibility, bold ideas, and curiosity.

Originally, the BM-90 specs consisted of all mahogany, and the scale is usually 635mm medium scale.
However, this Michimae Custom has a rosewood top, Honduran mahogany backside, and a long scale of 645mm.
Mr. Michimae's approach to guitar making is to bring out the best in the wood, so he considers not only the body material but also the rosette, binding, nut, and pegs as tone wood, and he has not overlooked any of the parts in pursuit of the overall sound tone.

As for my personal sound impression, I am amazed at the sound pressure that makes it hard to believe that I am playing a very small guitar.
Of course, there are other small guitars that are audibly louder, but like a loud sound on small speakers, there are limitations and distortions in the sound.
However, this particular guitar does not have any crushing or distortion even with strong strokes, and you can enjoy an acoustic sound with a great deal of room to spare.
Although it is tempting to explore the secret, Mr. Michizen's own comment on the production of this guitar, "I think it is the best guitar for players," shows the confidence and craftsmanship of "you will like it if you play it" without saying much.

This guitar is sure to draw you into the world of Michizen and make you want to know more about his mysterious spirit of craftsmanship.

[CONDITION]
The final setup was done by Mr. Michizen himself just before delivery to our store, and the playability is outstanding!
The string height is set at 2.5mm on the 6th string and 2.2mm on the 1st string at 12F.
There may be very slight scratches due to being displayed in a store.
