Description

This is a super cool and very hard to find K. Yairi TG-40 from 1981. This was made in Japan and is modeled after the Guild D-40.

This guitar does show some signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. The finish shows some light scratching and small dents on the body. There also appears to be a little bit of finish checking in the area near the pickguard. The pickguard is also lifting slightly and appears to have been reglued by a previous owner. There's some additional small dents and scratches on the back of the neck and the headstock has some minor dings as well. The frets are used but still play great without any buzzing. The action is currently on the higher side at .09" at the 12th fret.

This guitar appears to be all original.

Includes the pictured hard case.
