1939 Kalamazoo Kg-11 Sunburst, Fair, $600.00
This is a very cool old PROJECT GUITAR... just needs a little luthiery love.
It WILL need a neck reset, (unless you just want an old blues slide guitar) has a distorted hump in the top next to the soundhole on the bass side and a top crack along the pickguard between bridge and soundhole. G tuner gear also bent. Overall setup work needed (saddle?) If someone is looking for a cool fixer-upper vintage guitar on the cheap here it is.
Besides the aforementioned issues it's a pretty clean guitar. All original including top finish, back and sides may have been oversprayed clear. Has cleated back crack already.
This guitar has an original pickguard which many KG11's from this era don't.
Although this guitar seemingly has had a rough life the neck, fingerboard and frets are in AMAZING condition.
