Description

Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, this 1930s Kalamazoo is ready to go. It started its life as a right-handed guitar but has been professionally converted to a lefty. We love that. The world needs more guitars for our left-handed friends. A great deal of work was during this conversion and we'll hit the highlights below. Please feel free to call us at the Shop if you have questions or would like an in-hand description of the guitar.

The top was stripped and refinished with an aging toner and French Polish. An adjustable truss rod was installed in the neck. A hole in the Treble bout was filled. A number of cracks were sealed and cleated. A bone nut and saddle were installed. New Kluson tuners and a new bridge were installed. The frets were replaced. Pearl dots were installed. Ebony bridge pins were added.

This is definitely a player-grade vintage guitar, but the instrument is now stable and totally functional while retaining a lot of its original charm and mojo. If you're a lefty looking for a cool player-grade vintage guitar, this is one should take a look at. Comes with hard shell case. See below for more details and specifications.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
