Description

Up for sale, a very special guitar. This 1940s Kalamazoo KGN-12 Oriole was sent to our friend Scott Baxendale for a full conversion and it came back playing and sounding absolutely amazing. Included in Baxendale’s conversion process was his proprietary X-bracing, neck reset, refret, new bridge and bridgeplate, new nut and saddle, and new tuners. The complete Baxendale treatment has turned this vintage Kalamazoo into a whole different guitar with tremendous volume and exceptionally warm, sweet tone.

No overspray or finish work was done, just the structural improvements and items mentioned above. The guitar retains its vintage vibe including its hefty Vee Neck, spruce top, and stunning flamed maple back and sides, all in original finish. Vibrant Oriole logo and Kalamazoo name on a clean black painted headstock. Only the signed Baxendale Guitar label inside the soundhole tells you that this guitar has received a Baxendale conversion.

This guitar is one of the best sounding acoustics we have in the shop right now. Grab this unique Oriole while you can. Comes with a hardshell case.
