Circa 1938 Gibson-made Kalamazoo Sport Model Parlor acoustic guitar in SUNBURST FINISH in excellent condition overall - with vintage, and likely original, purple lined softshell case. This is a super cool late 1930s Kalamazoo Parlor that is in astoundingly clean condition for its age. Action is a bit on the high side, and the bridge saddle is down fairly low - she plays pretty well - her next owner may opt for a neck set, depending on the style of play. Looks like a previous owner ran a couple of screws in at either end of the bridge to provide support; it's actually pretty cleanly and professionally done, and the bridge is not currently lifting. There is light finish checking, some light scratches - but this old Kalamazoo is really in nice shape for her age - one of the cleanest we've seen. Chunky V shaped neck, as is expected from a 30s era Gibson made guitar, and a wonderful and warm tone with lots of projection for its diminutive size. A great one to write and record with - and a great one for the porch! Call 859-261-5500 for an in hand description. Thanks.
