What a great looking guitar! This guitar was made in the mid-60s by Kay for Western Auto Stores and is branded with the Western Auto logo and in-store brand name TruTone. We love this guitar because it checks all the boxes, it plays nice, sounds great, and it’s in fabulous condition. Other than a pair of scratches on the lower bout (see pictures), it looks almost new.
Two Barney Kessel style P-35 single coil pickups. 25 1/2 inch scale length with full size 1 11/16 inch nut width. Four switches and two knobs give you lots of tone options. Comes with the original tremolo arm and original softshell case. This is a great vintage package for not a lot of money. And when you’re not playing this eye-catching guitar on gigs, it will look gorgeous hanging in your music room.
