Description

Today we are looking at a Kenny Hill Signature Double Top classical guitar, built during 2006 in Ben Lomond California. Kenny Hill has been building since the mid 1970s.

This Kenny Hill Signature model features a double top with Red Cedar, Alpine Spruce and Nomex. The spanish cedar neck and ebony fingerboard are elevated, and the headstock features a traditional style V joint. The sides, back and bridge are Brazilian Rosewood. The scale length is 650mm and the nut width 50mm. Sloan tuners are installed.

The French Polish finish is in very good condition - it is actually a thin alcohol-based varnish, applied by hand. For its many virtues, French Polish is somewhat delicate and marks easily. It is very much unlike modern synthetic finishes, offering both less physical protection and dramatically less dampening of the instrument's vibration.

The original black hardshell case is included.

This is a consignment piece. Prices shown here are in US dollars and are based on a recent exchange rate. For Canadian dollar pricing, please follow the More Details link here to our website posting at www.12fret.com . Prices do not include shipping, taxes, or any import duties.
