Description

Summary: This is a very cool mid-1960’s Kent Copa Model 532 with three pickups, original tremolo system with “KENT” engraved cover and the original “KENT” logo on the headstock. This fine guitar was traded in to our shop by the guitar legend Duke Robillard and it sounds great & plays great too. This guitar was Guyatone made and probably came from around 1965.

Body: Solid body, dual cutaway electric guitar with a bolt on neck

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets, 6 original tuning keys with white buttons.

Pickups/Hardware: 3 single coil pickups, 4-way selector switch, 2 volume knobs and 2 tone knobs – the knobs & the selector switch seem to be all original.

Cosmetics: This vintage guitar does show some normal wear that is consistent with a 50 year old instrument – there are scratches & nicks & dings on the guitar and the pickguard shows a lot of scratching & wear but overall this guitar is in good playable condition.

Playability: This guitar plays really good – the action is comfortable & the guitar has been set up with 10’s and it is ready to be played & loved. The neck is very straight and the truss rod works!
