King fine tenor trombone model 2B. 7-3/8" (187mm) sterling silver bell. 481"-491" (12.22-12.47mm) dual bore slide. Outer slide nickel silver. Slide end crux, tuning tube yellow brass. Clear lacquer finish. 1993 manufacture. Accessories: Anniversary genuine hard case, guarantee card, commemorative pennant.
[Condition.]
One very small shallow ding on the top of the outer slide has been corrected (see detailed image). Other than that, there are only a few small marks and thin scuff marks. No dents or repairs. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, the stop felt and water key corks have been replaced. All parts have been serviced and adjusted.

Silver Sonic Anniversary model made for King's 100th anniversary in 1993. The silver bell has a two-piece key joint. This model is a concentrated product of King's commitment to silver, which was one of the first companies to use silver as a bell material for brass instruments from the 1920s. The high reputation and popularity of this commemorative model led to the later production of the Silver Sonic series, including the SSB-GP and SGX, the latter of which was gold-plated in key areas, while this AM model is clear lacquer only.
