Curve behind the bell, No. 1.3 extraction pipe, dents on the outer circumference of the main tuning pipe. Mouth pipe has some minor dents. The satin silver plating has been polished and aged to a high luster in many areas, and only a few traces of satin can be seen. The gold plating that should have been on the leaves of the carved pattern has almost disappeared.The gold plating on the bell inner surface has also faded. The floral engraving on the underside of the bell flare was done in later years.The piston is loosely sealed due to wear.However, it can be played by using heavy oil. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, all soft parts have been replaced, and it has been serviced and adjusted.

This is the first cornet with a long bell, designed by the founder, Mr. H.N. White, and manufactured by the King Company, a long-established American wind instrument manufacturer, from 1898. As the name "long model" implies, it features a long bell, which later became a characteristic of the American cornet. However, the bell bow is still an eclectic type that follows the Shepherd's Crook as in European and English cornets.
