Made in 1993, it is a steel-string model, extremely rare right there as most of his instruments are for nylon strings only. The 3” body depth, with cutaway, is exactly what’s you want for comfortable playing; the 1-13/16” nut width and shallow-oval neck contour are exactly right. The back and sides are Indian rosewood, the top Sitka spruce, with full abalone trim around its edge and nitrocellulose lacquer finish marking it as a top model of his. There is an original Gibson "Chet Atkins” active pickup system installed and Ray Butts pre-amp with four-band EQ. Overall condition is excellent with no issues of any kind, anywhere.
