1950 Kluson Gibson Sealfast Bullseye Tuners (2) Gold, Good

The very earliest examples of these I have seen, came from John D’Angelico’s parts box. Both were made for Gibson; both have screws for keeping the buttons on rather than the buttons being pressed on. One bass side, with desiccated button, screw intact, threaded hex fitting on button shaft; one treble side, no button, unusual collar on shaft, KLUSON MFG. CHICAGO, ILL. PAT.PEND. stamped into back of housing; never seen that before, could be as early as 1940s or earlier. $295
