1940 Kluson Treble Strip

A nearly impossible one to match when you need one, a very early Kluson treble-side strip for solid peghead with KLUSON MFG CO CHICAGO ILL clearly stamped on the front of the plate around one of the central screw-mounting holes, and PAT 8122700 (though the numerals are unclear) stamped around another central screw-mounting hole. Buttons replaced long ago, look nice and genuinely aged. I suspect that this may have come from a 1940s Gibson, possibly an extremely early Southern Jumbo or J-45. $95
