Kohno is considered to be one of the best Japanese luthiers in history and one of the top luthiers of the 20th century. He gained notoriety when he won the coveted Gold Medal at the International Guitar Building Competition in Belgium in 1967. Spruce soundboard with Brazilian rosewood back & sides. Plenty of wear, including some patched dings and repaired cracks. Guitar has a tremendous tone, rich, resonant and powerful. Includes original hardshell case.
