Betraying its compact size, The NTS-3 kaoss pad comes with a treasure trove of built-in, distinctive KAOSS effects. These range from essential filters and compressors to immersive delays, reverbs and imaginative modulation effects, offering a palette of original and previously unexplored performance possibilities.
With its powerful engine, the NTS-3 allows you to play individual KAOSS effects or seamlessly combine up to 4 effects simultaneously, which can be saved for future use. NTS-3 offers unbound on-board editing and customization options, and also uses an open development API (Application Programming Interface) available on Github that allows users to develop and create brand new effects via its dedicated logueSDK (Software Development Kit), allowing for virtually unlimited possibilities and new effects becoming available for the platform- a true game changer!
Users can then load these new custom effects into their NTS-3 via the dedicated Librarian application (coming soon).
Connectivity
As a performance focused FX instrument, the NTS-3 brings comprehensive and flexible connectivity options.
Using the Sync IN/OUT connections, playing in sync with other devices is fast and easy. In addition, an internal switch also allows these connections to double as MIDI In/Out for even more connectivity options that adapt to your style and workflow!
Nu:Tekt DIY fun
True to the DIY nature of every Nu:Tekt product, the NTS-3 kaoss pad kit is really safe and easy to assemble (*). To add some extra creativity to the assembly process we have included reversible metallic black and KAOSS reminiscent metallic red side panels so you can further personalize your NTS-3.
(*) No soldering needed, the assembly process requires less than 20 minutes
Physical customization and 3D data
Thanks to its DIY nature and open design, the NTS-3 is a highly customizable FX unit that you can modify in several ways. In addition to the open source logueSDK that allows users to build their own effects, the hardware of the NTS-3 can also be physically modified cosmetically and functionally. To help you get started with physical customization, we are providing the necessary schematics and instructions so you can personalize your NTS-3 in many different ways!

The NTS-3 comes with a diverse variety of music software from Izotope including “Ozone Elements” which lets you not only create songs but also master them using AI, “Skoove” which will help you improve your keyboard playing skills, “Reason Lite” DAW software, as well as software synths from KORG and other brands. We give you 3 days from the shipping date on Vintage instruments, and 15 days on New instruments. Credit card returns are issued a credit for purchase price. Refunds are made for product value only, excluding shipping and handling charges. New, Unopened items: You may return most NEW, untouched, unopened items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we'll also pay the return shipping costs.
