Natural, an interesting early Hawaiian made uke by one of the oldest makers Jonah Kumalae. Kumale’s roots trace back to the High Chief Paki of the Maui royal family.
This interestingly has many names scratched in the back, some in quotation marks like “Flo”, “Hazel” and “Watson”. This lessens the value but shows some shared experience.
Has the traditional crown headstock which is a nod to Hawaiian royalty and the Spanish heel is part of the back. This is made of flamed Koa. Also ha Its beauty is in the simplicity of construction and letting the wood speak for itself. Note the original push-in tuners have been replaced with more modern tuners. Comes with the original gig bag.
