Description

Maybe you love Telecaster basses (and Jazzes and P-Basses too,) but you're stuck with that '71 Tele bass that weighs north of 12 pounds and only gets a couple of basic tones. That could be the situation anywhere on the planet and is the reason we're stepping in with the presentation of this most incredible Landon K-Tour Telecaster bass. It commands your attention the moment you open the case!

The matte black finish was applied with the "Metal" bassist in mind- if you're playing in Armored Saint, you can't be seen with a pink paisley bass, that's for certain. The body is double-bound and features single volume/tone controls with a three-way selector switch. The custom-wound Honey Badger soapbar pickups provide everything from a Jazz bass neck pickup on steroids to an unbelievable Jaco-like mid-range bark coming from the bridge pickup. Once you've heard these Honey Badgers, you may never go back to stock single-coils again.

Cherries on top of the cake include antiqued bronze hardware, a bone nut, Ebony custom knobs, and Luminlay inlays. Add to that a very comfortable weight of 7 lbs, 7 oz and you have one of the most perfect basses ever created for Rock Music. Oh, the satin-finished, highly flamed maple neck doesn't hurt, either. The spec sheets are clearly pictured so you can check out all of the goodies yourself.

After playing our first Landon bass, we became so convinced of their dexterity, quality, and craftsmanship that we became the exclusive nationwide dealer of these incredible instruments. Of that achievement, we're very proud, so please always feel free to call with any questions and we look forward to adding you to the member rolls of the Southern Elk Family!
