Larrivee" is a long-established brand founded in 1967.
In the 1970s, the late Isato Nakagawa acquired various handcrafted custom guitars through Hiro Corporation, including Larrivee.
It is no exaggeration to say that he popularized a high-quality acoustic guitar brand that was not well known in Japan.
Larrivee believes in "affordable luxury. The brand is still popular today because of its policy of putting quality guitars in the hands of every player.

The guitar introduced here is the "C-09" from 1991, when the company was still based in Canada.
Compared to the current model, this one has a more classical look, with rosette inlays and other features that give it a more subdued and luxurious appearance.
Since it was originally designed for fingerpickers, the nut width is 45mm, which makes it easy to play single notes.
However, the sound does not give the impression of being specially designed for fingerpicking.
In addition, the rich mid-low range resonance of the 456 string makes it easy to add dynamics, making it very versatile in a storytelling situation as well.

[CONDITION]
- Neck and wood parts thoroughly inspected and adjusted by acoustic guitar specialist
- Neck has been straightened with fingerboard correction and refretting after arrival, no chatter or sound blockage.
- There were two cracks on the top, which were also reinforced by gluing and patching.
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side.
