2000 Larrivee D-05-12 Natural

Very nice sounding and well built acoustic 12 string from our Canadian friends at Larrivee. This model is the D-05-12 and it has a beautifully grained Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides. Cream bound neck. Body is double bound with contrasting maple. Abalone rosette and headstock inlay. This one’s a looker!

Good playing and excellent projection and tone. 1 7/8 inch nut width. 25.5 inch scale length. Tuners have been replaced with nice Sperzels. An active pickup system was once installed in the guitar but was removed. End pin hole was drilled to accept an output jack but now has a replaced end pin. There is a small neatly applied velcro patch inside the body which was used to secure a battery pouch. One small chip on lower back side of guitar. A couple of finish cracks below the bridge which do not penetrate the wood or affect the structural integrity or sound of the guitar.

All in all this is a really nice guitar which delivers that warm glistening tone only a quality acoustic 12 string can offer.
