Description

Laurie Williams builds superior concert quality instruments featuring exquisite craftsmanship and a pallet of aural colours that are rich, expressive and inspirational.

His individually handcrafted acoustic guitars are built from some of the most unique and beautiful timbers of the world, including many from his native country of New Zealand, where he lives and works.

Designed for the solo fingerstylist, the Tui is a state-of-the-art fingerstyle guitar with superb sustain, volume, balance and clarity. The Tui is a refined instrument with the ability to respond to the subtle changes in dynamics of the virtuoso player. It is exquisitely nuanced giving this instrument a captivating musicality that will thrill, both you and those you play for, whether you play in the world's grandest concert halls, or in the privacy of your studio at home. The Tui design incorporates a sculpted, low profile, heel-to-cutaway body transition, which allows easy, comfortable access to the higher frets and is the perfect compliment to the smooth and fast playing neck.
