Description

If a truly great P90 guitar is on your menu, then please read on. Offered here is a very tasty DL-90 built by Scott and Scott Jr. of Lentz guitars in 2015.

This DL 90 is made from a very light piece of Alder giving the guitar a total weight of just 6 pounds, 14 ounces. It has a lovely Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The neck is a single piece of Rock Maple with a very large and lovely soft V-shape and depth measurements of .94" at the first fret increasing to 1.00" at the twelfth fret. It has a very dark Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with a 9.5" radius, Medium/Jumbo fret wire, clay dot inlays and a 1.655" bone nut. It has a Gotoh hardtail bridge with brass saddles. Electronics include two Lentz L-90 pickups along with a volume control for each pickup, a master tone knob and a three-way toggle switch.

If you love P-90's, a big neck profile and can't decide between an LP and a Tele, the Lentz DL 90 may be the guitar for you. Cranked or clean, this guitar seems to read your mind. The tone of this guitar is fat with Tele twang and it plays divinely! Please check out the brief sound sample included below as well a the video of another DL-90 being put through it's paces.

This 2015 instrument is in great condition save for a bit of weather checking (see photos included) which is really tough to see, even in person. Other than this finish checking the guitar shows only the lightest of play wear and the frets are in great condition. It comes in it's original blonde G&G hardshell case which remains in very good condition.

Built for you today with these specifications the men from Lentz tell me this guitar would cost you near $6K primarily because of the escalating cost of Brazilian Rosewood. Get this near superb 2015 example for less than half that sum. Get yourself a Lentz handbuilt guitar. You will be very, very glad you did! Just an awesome electric here folks!
