Each Lentz guitar is built by hand, starting with the raw materials, and all pickups are hand wound in-house. The DL-90 model features two L90 pickups (Lentz’s variation of the Gibson P90) and is a favorite among jazz and blues players.

Body: Solid double cutaway body with nitrocellulose finish in Fiesta Red.

Neck: Hard rock maple bolt-on with big 1950s style soft V profile. Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Bone nut.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Lentz L-90 pickups. Three position pickup toggle. Two volume controls and one tone control, with knurled knobs. Nickle hardware. Kluson style tuners. Hard-tail Strat style bridge with Gotoh™ / TI™ Titanium Saddles. Three ply white/black/white pickguard.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition with only a few finish dings along the edge. Neck is in great shape; frets are big and full with plenty of life left.

Playability: This is a phenomenal player. Big frets on a big neck make for lots of play room that responds well to aggressive chording, intricate fingerpicking, and bends. The body is light and resonant. Action is low and slinky, with no buzz or dead spots. The sound from the two P90 style pickups combined with the Fenderish neck yields a clear, spanky tone reminiscent of a beefed-up Telecaster.
