Offered is another exquisite instrument from the shop of Scott Lentz & Son. Few things brighten up my day like adding a choice Lentz guitar to my inventory. I talked briefly with Scott Jr. about this guitar and he tells me it was built for one of their best customers. As such, they bestowed it with a few very nice upgrades. This guitar has one-piece cabinet-aged Swamp Ash body from the stock normally used only on their best Lentz Reserve guitars. This special piece of wood resulted in a guitar which weighs just 6 pounds, 13 ounces and rings like a bell. The Mary Kay white lacquer finish is exquisite. This guitar also received a fret board made of premium old-growth Brazilian Rosewood and it is a highly figured piece at that - gorgeous! The Maple neck on this guitar is classic Lentz - a large soft V to C shape with depth measurements of .925" at the 1st fret, increasing to 1.025" at the 12th fret. The nut is bone and 1.65" wide and the fret board radius is 9.5". The pickups are Lentz hand-wounds voiced specifically for this guitar. This is a spectacular instrument, one that feels alive in your hands and sounds like the ultra high-end Tele that it is. Other than a few play marks on the pick guard, this beauty is in near mint condition, frets included. Comes with it's original blonde G&G case in similarly nice condition. If you are a lover of fine guitars looking to treat yourself to something really special, this guitar is a more than suitable candidate! Highly recommended....
