Lotus Trumpet SOLO ModelRAPA 4-VALVE specification of the Mr. Adam Rappa uses it as his main instrument. The 4-VALVEThe bell size, receiver weight, and reed pipe gauge (thickness) are one size and more compact than the SOLO MAX. Although the instrument weighs 1,400 grams, it feels lighter than its actual weight when held because of its good front-to-back balance.The main feature of the RAPA 4-VALVE is that the extended low register allows for a new dimension in solo playing, but the rotary is completely independent of the three-valve casing, so when not using the low register, it can be used just like an ordinary three-piston trumpet. The additional weight of the rotary valve contributes to the heavy sound and stability when blowing that are unique to this model.*From this shipment,The shape of the diagonal post connecting the bell to the body, the braze on the valve casing (the seat between the bell and mouthpipe), and the upper and lower bottom caps have been changed.
