Vintage legendary brand “Lotus” Stratocaster style 6 string electric guitar. Lotus was a “house brand” name put on the headstocks of a line of good-quality electric guitars made in various Asian factories from the late 1970s until the late 1990s. Lotus- branded guitars started with the elite league of Japanese craftsmen who initially made excellent Morris-branded guitars, Yamaha, and . Lotus' guitar company owners, scrambling for cheaper labor, began manufacturing their guitars in India, but could not compete with Chinese and Indonesian guitar producers, so the company ended production before the end of the 1990s
This guitar has a beautiful metallic pearl white finish. This has been a cared for instrument and lightly used. Two small dings and a couple inches of finish burn through are all the wear you’ll find (see final 3 photos of listing). Classic S-type guitar perfect for any range of musician from beginners to seasoned veterans. Configured with three single coil pickups. One volume, two tone controls with 5-way switch. Bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard. 25.5 inch scale. 21 frets. Chromed, string through, tremolo bridge. For me, it is impossible to identify with any confidence what kind of wood might be used in the instrument in this listing. I am NOT an expert on what woods Asian guitar factories use to make their instruments. Plantation grown trees such as Paulownia, Swamp Ash, Alder, Poplar, Pine, Spruce, Basswood, Khaya, Keruing, and Kauri are used.

All of my guitars have been fully tested and are functional. All of my guitars have been cleaned, detailed, and waxed, electronics flushed and checked for functionality. All of my guitars have been “set up”: neck straightness adjusted when possible, fingerboard oil treated (if rosewood/laurel), action set, pickup height optimized, intonation checked, to MY PERSONAL PREFERENCES ($60. Value at any Guitar Center). Please note: “setups” are not “one size fits all”. Your personal set up requirements might be different from mine, so, additional adjustments may be needed to suit your setup preferences. Also, for optimal sound and playing ease, I always advise buyers to put a new set of strings on the guitar, the brand and gauge of their preference. To protect the guitar from damage, string tension will be relieved before shipping. You will need to tune the guitar to pitch when it arrives. ***Condition Disclaimer*** This is a PREVIOUSLY OWNED item. Please see images for details and ask any questions you may have BEFORE YOU BUY!
