Materials: 3-piece Ash body, Spalted Maple top, 6-bolt bolt-on 5-piece neck (3-piece Maple with 2 Rosewood stingers), Rosewood fingerboard, abalone dot inlays and pearloid block inlay 12th fret with model, Spalted Maple headstock veneer with inlaid pearloid LTD logo, W/B truss rod cover, black battery access cover, black control cavity cover, black plastic nut, natural satin finish.

Hardware: Black nickel hardware, enclosed tuning keys with embossed ESP logo on back, ESP string-thru body BB-605 Bridge, ESP SB-5 pickups in bridge and neck, ESP ABQ-3 3-Band Active EQ with; master volume, balance, bass boost/cut, mid boost/cut, treble boost/cut controls, side mount input jack, metal dome knobs.

Playability: The neck is an extra thin U profile and has a satin finish. Setup by ESP and double checked in-house, strung up with standard 45-125 strings.

Brief History: ESP (Electric Sound Products), was founded in 1975 by Hisatake Shibuya who opened a shop manufacturing replacement guitar parts in Tokyo, Japan. By 1976, ESP began producing their own guitars. The USA was introduced to ESP guitar parts in the early '80s. In 1985 the US saw their first run of the overseas made ESP 400 series guitars. George Lynch discovered ESP in 1986 and had them build a custom guitar for him. In 1989, ESP released George Lynch's custom model as their first signature guitar. Throughout the years ESP has produced many iconic instruments. In 1992, ESP discontinued the production of parts to focus on building guitars. The less expensive factory built guitars under the name LTD started production in 1996.
