Description
Part of Luna's Artist Series, the Craftsman Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric guitar was inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement that flourished between 1860-1910 as a reaction against the styles developed by machine production. During that period, objects were simple in form, without superfluous decoration, as the artists at the time emphasized the qualites of the materials used (aka "truth to material") and patterns were greatly inspired by flora and fauna. The Craftsman gives a huge nod to that movement, beginning with its simple rosette and fret markers influenced by a classic 'rose' design made famous by Dard Hunter, one of the most well-respected designers of that era. The mixture of solid cedar, ebony, mahogany, and koa give it an excellent natural tonal quality, while a B-Band T55 4-band EQ with tuner gives you the boost needed for plugged in situations.
