Description

Here we have a 1900s Lyon and Healy Parlor guitar that has been nicely refinished and has undergone repairs to make it structurally sound. Cleated repair underneath the bridge. New kerfing and some binding repairs on the upper bass side. Repaired bridgeplate. The guitar plays fine with medium action and has a beautiful rounded tone.

Basic Specs: Brass 3-on-a-plate tuners. 1 7/8 inch Bone nut. Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. V-shaped neck with a depth of .98 inches at the first fret and 1.15 inches at the tenth fret. Fingerboard is twelve frets to the body and has a flat radius. Replacement Ebony bridge and Bone saddle. Cedar top.

Cedar is such a sweet-sounding top wood and serves this little parlor well. We love the way it sounds. Makes us want to curl up on the couch, light a fire, and play all night. Comes with a chipboard case.
