Lyon & Healy Washburn Shipping Crate ca. 1910 | $675 | This is an original wooden shipping crate from the early part of the 20th century. The crate is marked Lyon & Healy on the ends in black ink, and Washburn on the sides in a variety of period fonts. Additionally, the sides feature a charming group of cherubs playing various instruments, likely Washburn products. The crate measures 35 1/2" x 10" x 10", and is in excellent condition (missing its lid). In thirty years of looking, we've not seen another like this, and will likely never see another. A fabulous piece of guitar-related advertising Americana.
