This is very cool - an all original 1950s Magnatone Lap Steel in grey/blue perloid finish! During the 1930s and into the late 1950s, Hawaiian music was very popular and this led to the development of the very first electric guitars.
This Magnatone Lap Steel appears to be in good, all original condition with very little wear. It's built using a wooden core and the blue pearloid finish on top (the same sort of finish used on drum sets). As is the case on many of these models, the top is sagging a bit, but is not cracked or damaged. A non-original fibre (cardboard) National case is included.
