Description

This is a very cool Magnatone Mark IV, made in the USA in 1957. This is an early version that has the Paul Bigsby designed pickups and carved neck joint. This guitar shows extremely heavy play wear and many battle scars. When we got it the back was demolished. (These are actually hollow). We built a new back and finished it to match as much as possible. The bridge is not original and it is missing the pickguard and part of the Magnatone logo on the headstock. It has been pro-setup in our shop, and despite the wear it is still playing quite well. The frets are nearing the end of their life span but the guitar still has some stories to tell. It comes with a non original hard case.
