2019 Magnatone Super 15 Black

DESCRIPTION
For your consideration a 2019 Magnatone Super 15 combo amp! Back in the ’30s Magna Electronics produced amps, Hawaiian and lap steel guitars. They are probably best known for the amps they would produce in the 50’s and 60’s that sported their unique F.M. Vibrato effect! In 2013 Ted Kornblum (formerly Ampeg) bought the name and started to produce a new line of Magnatone amps with special input from Billy Gibbons as well as Neil Young’s guitar tech!

Specs! 15 watts all tube hand built in the U.S.A. Two EL84s and three 12AX7s. Knob lay out Gain, Master, Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence. Single 12″ Custom made Magnatone speaker. Speaker-Emulated line and headphone outs. Buffered Effect loop. Birch ply cabinet.

What a pleasant surprise! This was our first run in with the Super 15 and we were blown away! Defiantly plenty of volume! Rips with any sort of humbucker guitar. The Speaker-Emulator is extremely useful for late night headphone practicing and the line out is awesome for late night recording! About 10 pounds lighter then your iconic 15 watt amp. Fantastic sounding amp with some great modern features.
