This Jazzbastard is simple in function with a sophisticated tone and feel. The electronics consist of a streamlined single volume and single tone control (no slide switches like on a Jazzmaster or Jaguar) The pickups are hand wound by Mojo Pickups UK. The model of pickups are called Wide Range Dual-Foils. They are essentially two gold foil pickups in one, except one of the humbucker's coils is more dominant than the other. Because of this, you get a much brighter more single coil-like tonality as you are hearing more output from one coil than the other. The pickups are still fully hum-cancelling. These Dual Foils are interchangeable with any WRHB (Wide Range Humbucker) sized pickup.
The Mastery Bridge and Vibrato work effortlessly together. These units have a smooth feel with an arm that pops in and out, for ease of travelling with the guitar in it's case. The finish of this Mario is unlike any Lake Placid Blue we've seen. The extra hints of metallic sparkle, gives the finish more depth than a standard LPB finish. Plastic and metal parts have been aged by Mario Guitars in house. It's the small details like the yellowed pickguard and truly worn-in feeling nitro finish on the neck, that pull this whole guitar together. Players of all genres will find something to love about it. There are many demos on YouTube of the Mojo Dual Foil Pickup. You can expect a quiet lower output humbucker with an airiness around the notes. The bridge pickup is warm, open and twangy while the neck is more mellow and great for anything from Jazz to Rock, depending on the amplifier and other gear used. These pups also love overdrive for a great raunchy Blues tone.

Returns on New items are accepted (unless noted in the description), and must occur within 4 days from when you receive the item.
