1988 Marshall 2558 Jubilee Combo Black Tolex

Up for sale is a clean one-owner Marshall 2558 “Jubilee” combo amp from 1988. The 25/50 watt 2558 model has a pair of C12 speakers that deliver all the sounds Marshall is known for. This is a killer amp played by many great players like Slash, Bonamassa, and many others.

The Jubilee amps were based on the JCM800s of the time and featured a very similar output section along with a new preamp. Their most publicized feature was the half-power switching which is activated by a rocker switch.

The 1987 Jubilee amps were trimmed in silver tolex and had silver-colored faceplates, along with a commemorative plaque. The 1988 2558 model is the same amp but with traditional black tolex and gold faceplate. This one is unmodded and comes with its original vinyl cover!
