Marshall JCM-2000 DSL-100

This used 100 Watt JCM-2000 DSL 100 Dual Super Lead head features two foot-switchable channels; Classic Gain (Channel A) and Ultra Gain (Channel B). Each channel has a very different character from the other, with the Classic Gain channel taking you from clean to crunch reminiscent of a Marshall model 1959 amplifier and then, via a mode switch, up to a Marshall model 2203 amplifier-style brute. Ultra Gain takes you from a hot-rodded model 2203, via a mode switch, to a higher gain response with the addition of mid-boost. Each channel also has its own individual reverb level control. The amplifier also features an effects loop, a deep switch and a tone shift which are common to both channels. The deep switch adds a resonant bass boost to your sound without muddying it up, while the tone shift selector pulls out the mid frequencies making the amp ideal for brutal metal tones, especially when combined with high gain settings.
