1966 Marshall JTM45 "Bluesbreaker"
Arguably one of the most important amplifiers in Marshall history. The “Bluesbreaker” was the first combo amplifier Jim Marshall ever made. After being beckond by Eric Clapton to create an amp that remained powerful enough for stage volume, but also, fit in the boot of his car. The JTM45 “Bluesbreaker” is credited with being the amplifier that birthed “the sound that launched British blues-rock in the mid-1960’s.” This amp, containing the original speakers, takes a listener back to a time when there was a desperation for new innovative ideas in the realm of sound and live performances. A rare and treasured piece of rock n roll history.
