These are probably the most overlooked and underrated vintage Martins out there. Up for sale is a 1953 Martin 0-15 small-bodied acoustic workhorse! Don’t let the size fool you, this thing has a huge and complex sound. Solid mahogany top, back, sides, neck, and a beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Overall in very good condition — finish checking all over with a decent amount of finish missing on the back of the neck. No major breaks or repairs, but there are a few cracks in the back that are stable as well as a center seam repair on the top and a small hairline area running along the bottom of the pickguard. The guitar plays well up and down the neck with the action being on the med / high side up top, measuring 4mm on the bass side and 3mm on the treble at the 12th fret. The saddle is about as low as it will go. Sounds beautiful and comes with a non-original case.
