Description

1944 Martin 0-17 in very good condition. The warmth and woodiness that comes from this little guitar is remarkable. The scalloped braces make for a lively and full sounding little guitar. The neck has been reset the angle and centering are both excellent. The finish is all original but shows considerable checking. The back of the neck has had the finish either worn off or removed or both. Looks to us like the guitar was in a very humid environment and moisture got under the finish causing it to get milky and check heavily. Bridge and bridge plate are original as are all braces. A satisfying guitar indeed. Includes a newer high quality hard case.
