DESCRIPTION
For your consideration a 1941 Martin 0-18! You wont hear us complain when a 40s Martin walks through the door! Its hard to believe that Martin had been building instruments for over 100 year when this guitar was made! By 1941 Martin had been focusing on steel stringed guitar for the past 20 years. This guitar defiantly shows how they had refined and developed the instrument for the new era! People have been playing this thing for the past 80 years and for good reason! Absolutely a great feeling, play and sounding guitar!

Specs! This guitar is in good condition. It has had a neck reset. Cracks located on the Top, Back and sides have been repaired and cleated. The top has been over sprayed. It has a new bridge with a brass bridge plate reinforcement. It has a new bone nut and saddle. It has a new set of tuners. Some one installed a L.R Baggs M-1 Pick up. Nickel Grover tuners. Rosewood overlay on head stock. Bone nut with a width of 1-11/16″. Mahogany neck with a depth of .82″ at the first fret and 1.05″ at the twelfth fret. The scale length measures 24.9″. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with a 16″ radius. Action measures 4.5/64″ on the bass side and 4/64″ on the treble side. The original 20 frets are in good condition. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The natural top has been over sprayed. Non-original rosewood bridge with a bone saddle. Comes with its original hard shell case that is in fair condition. It weighs 3 pounds and 8 ounces.

All the best ones always have the scars to prove it! This 0-18 has seen a lot of action in its 80 years! Luckily it has had a neck reset and wants to continue being a guitar! Extremely comfortable through and through. Great body shape that sits easily in most peoples lap. The neck has been played and has that great broken in feeling. The slab of Brazilian rosewood for the fingerboard really takes the neck to the next level. Defiantly one of those small body guitars that sounds a lot bigger then it looks! Great definition and clarity through its harmonic range. Full bass, nice mids and twangy treble. Would make for a mean finger picking guitar. We will be sad to see this one leave!
