1961 Martin 0-18

This beauty has all the mojo you will ever want. Now moving into her 6th decade she’s been well broken in and ready to be your regular go to instrument. The 0-18 is that comfortable mid-size guitar that is so comfortable, and the tone so sweet. We found this gal in need of some minor TLC. Our experienced luthier went to work. We had the bridge re attached and the neck re fretted. There was a crack on the back, upper bout that was fully cleated and reglued. It is all but unnoticeable to the eye. We then had him go over the guitar from top to bottom to ensure proper setup and complete top performance. And let us say that she ticks all the boxes for performance. The aged mahogany back and sides coupled with the spruce top, give you unmatched sound delivery. You have plenty of punch and a full spectrum, from lows to highs. You will see some pick wear on the front near the pickguard and a ding or slight scratch here or there. That’s where the look of experience adds to the mojo. Everything on the guitar is original and functions as it should. We are including a newer hardshell case for protection. If you’ve jonesed for a Martin, this would be a great place to start. Or, this might be the place to finish out that Martin collection, if that’s possible.

We make every effort to provide you honest information about the instrument you purchase. However, every flaw, scratch or ding may not be photographed or noticed on every instrument. By the nature of what we are collecting and selling, virtually all vintage instruments will have dings, scratches, and various other imperfections that come with age and use. We call it character. That's why we love them. Please carefully look at photographs and contact us if you require additional information. Please note that every instrument has been inspected and set up by our luthier for playability and appearance. But, your instrument may still require additional set up by you to make it exactly what is most comfortable and acceptable to you. In the unlikely event that your instrument arrives in a condition with damage or other issues not previously anticipated, please contact us immediately and we will assist. Should a return be required due to damage incurred in route, we must be notified within 48 hours. Please note that all other returns are at the recipients expense. Contact us to authorize and assist you in either case so that we can minimize cost and ensure the safe return of the instrument. All returns must arrive in the same condition in which they left our store and be insured for the full value of the instrument.
