1962 Martin 0-18 Old Wood, Cheaper than Brand New!!

Great sounding guitar with the nice crisp Martin sound. Finish is beautiful, especially the top and the neck. Priced right because it needs a neck reset, which most old Martins do, if it’s not already done. Plays well on the first few fret positions, but the strings get high as they go down the neck. Beware of others for sale that don’t disclose this or are “on the bubble”…...they usually aren’t!

This has some well repaired treble side crack work, with high quality finish work that blends the repair in, but is darkened to cover up the repair, (an old repair technique). Repair is not visible unless you know what to look for, many would not notice it other than the discoloration.

Inside is very clean. Frets in nice shape. Usual Martin Pickguard crack. Nice rounded comfortable neck profile. .884 first fret, 7th fret .963. 1 ¾ nut, 24.9 inch scale length. String height at the 12th fret 11/64’s, Low E 10/64’s at the High E. Weighs 3 lbs, 5 oz. Tail strap button glued in, no strap button ever installed on the neck heel.
