1914 Martin 0-18 Brazilian Rosewood, Adirondack Spruce!
Brazilian Rosewood Martin 0-18 that sounds excellent! This guitar is really a testament to the long and storied history of C.F. Martin. This guitar has a hand-written serial number, date and signature by F.H.M. Frank Henry Martin, grandson of C.F. Martin Sr. The guitar was originally made for gut strings and it currently has light steel strings and is holding up pretty well. Very nice vintage Martin.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Over 110 years old and still plays and sounds great! The guitar has cracks that were repaired in the past including 5 on the top and about 6 small ones on the back. The guitar is a great player and has excellent action with tons of saddle and the original bar frets have lots of life left.
