1970 Martin 0-18T8 natural 1 of 5 ! 8 string Tenor
This has to be one of the rarest of the rare- until 6 weeks ago I have never heard of one. They made 5, 3 in 1969 and 2 in 1970. Martin 8 string tenor! The previous owner used it for Celtic music, currently is tuned E, B, G, D. Plays fine, pickguard crack and replaced tortoise guard (should be black I believe, and a regular 0-18 guard should work, but the tortoise looks great), and small crack behind the last D pin on the bridge, that doesn't go through. Solid guitar, really interesting sound, great tone and just cool beyond words. I doubt I will ever see another, and neither will you. Clean original hard case included. Thanks for looking!
