Description

Here is one that has the Trifecta of Tone that I love to talk about! That is to say Brazilian rosewood, Adirondack spruce, and scalloped bracing. It's extremely hard to beat that. Bells and whistles include herringbone trim and snow flake inlays. This is a truly wonderful instrument that is well over 100 years old! Of course in all that elapsed time there have been a few crack repairs, all look expertly done. The bridge is also a replica replacement. There is some overspray on the body and some French polish applied to the neck. I stood close by as a world renowned expert examined the finish intently and confirmed. Original bridge plate is present and intact! This guitar sounds fantastic with extra light steel strings, gut strings, silk and steel, and even simply light gauge steel. Don't let this little beauty pass you by. An instrument such is this is A LOT for the money! 6,500 dollars.
