Description

We found this one with his older brother (another 50's 00-17) believe it or not in the same place at the same time. We knew they needed to stay together. We would rather sell them as a pair but decided when we got them all cleaned up that they were old enough to go out on their own. This is a "like new" guitar. It has a fully mahogany top, back, sides and neck. Though original finish, it shines amazingly in the light. She has light crazing but a beautiful finish across the whole guitar. There are a few small dings and nicks as well as a hairline crack that has been professionally repaired on the lower bout, but nothing that would not be expected of a 60+ year old instrument. The frets are just at the right height with plenty of future wear. All in all it's an extremely smooth player. The beauty of this model is that it has the smaller mid-size and weight with the full sound of mature wood and superb design. If you are looking for a guitar that is easy to pull out and just enjoy, this era and this model is what you have been looking for. Serial # 158735. Comes with a case that is period for the guitar. She's been professionally set up. Own and enjoy a piece of Martin history! If you find his brother still available on the site and you would like to keep them together, drop us a note and maybe we can make a special deal.
