DESCRIPTION
We don’t typically have nylon acoustics but how could we say no to a Martin? For your consideration a 1955 Martin 00-18G. Martin introduced the 00-18G model in 1936. Nylon string guitars are fantastic for any individual looking to play finger style. You get a whole lot more control over your articulations and dynamic range when playing nylon finger style. This is an awesome guitar for country pickin or folk music.

Specs! This guitar is all original. Nickel 3 plate tuners. Brazilian rosewood overlay on head stock. Nut width measures 2″. Mahogany neck with a depth of .86″ at the first fret and 1.30″ at the twelfth fret. 25.4″ scale length. Brazilian rose wood fingerboard with a flat radius. Original 19 frets in excellent condition. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Natural finish. Brazilian rosewood tie bridge. Bone saddle. Comes with a non-original hard shell case. Weighs 3 pounds.

At 65 years old this Martin is still rollin! Comfortable neck. Frets have tons of life left in them. Nice full sound, a good amount of bass with a nice treble attack. Nice dry percussive sound perfect for country picking. This guitar is also an awesome folk guitar. Great for nylon rhythm parts. If you need a nylon string you cant go wrong with a vintage Martin!
