Built since 2011, the C. F. Martin 00-DB Jeff Tweedy model is Martin's first Custom Artist model that's FSCĀ© certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council.

The Martin 00-DB Jeff Tweedy model is based on the classic 00 body shape, with the DB indicating a Deep Body version. It is built entirely with FSCĀ© certified mahogany for the top, back, sides and neck, with ebony for the fingerboard and bridge, and Indian Rosewood for the headplate. Trim and decorations are similar to a standard '18' level guitar with faux tortoise binding and picktuard, except for the arrows and crosses fingerboard inlays, made of Corian. The nut and saddle are bone.

This example of the Martin 00-DB Jeff Tweedy Artist Signature Edition, built during 2015, is number 967 of this model. It is in excellent condition with only the slightest of wear. It's been so lightly used, the endpin still hasn't been installed! Martin supplies and endpin, but doesn't install it before shipping to protect the guitar's tailblock in case of a shipping mishap. It plays and sounds like a new Martin guitar - with the added warmth of the mahogany top. The original hardshell case is included.
