The early 12-fret 000s occupy a special status in the world of tone. Being a giant box for the extra-light construction of those days, it puts out an extraordinarily full and rich tone. This one is original except for a period replacement of one side tuner and correct footprint bridgeplate, has one long side crack and a couple minor back cracks, all beautifully repaired with french polish touch-up. There's a faintly visible mark of an over-the-finish pickguard long ago. The pyramid bridge is original, from just before the change to the non-pyramid, and we've just reset the neck and replaced the frets. All in all, this is a very solid, wonderful instrument that plays and sounds beautifully.
Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
